PRIORITY OCCUPATIONS

Priority Jobs and Sectors

The Northeast Community Immigration Pilot will determine priority jobs and sectors for this region, based on labour market data and input from the Steering Committee members.

Each year, 5-6 priority sectors and 25 National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes will be identified.

Only employers operating within these designated sectors and NOC codes will be eligible to become designated employers and submit applications for the pilot.

THE 2026 ELIGIBILITY LIST IS NOW AVAILABLE BELOW.

Note: the priority NOC jobs and sectors may change over time, depending on the workforce needs of the Northeast BC Rural Community Immigration Pilot region.
