May 2026 Candidate Intake Update

We are pleased to share that our Selection Committee met in May 2026 and issued 20 recommendations to candidates and their employers across the Northeast BC – Peace Liard region. We now have 21 recommendations remaining out of our total allocation of 60 for this intake cycle.

Please note that we are not able to provide individual application status updates. We are also unable to comment on any individual applicant's chances of receiving a recommendation.

If you have not yet received a decision on your application, please know that this does not mean your application has been unsuccessful. It simply means your file remains in the applicant pool and is still under active consideration. We expect to notify all applicants of their final outcome by July 2026.

Important notice for Retail Sales Supervisor applicants (NOC 62010)

We have reached the cap imposed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on recommendations for the Retail Sales Supervisor occupation (NOC 62010). As a result, we will not be issuing any further recommendations for this NOC code during the current intake. If your job offer falls under NOC 62010, we encourage you to monitor our website for announcements about future intakes and reapply when a new intake opens.
